Learning of child remains found on Indian Residential School grounds inspired me into a creative grieving state. Telling the stories of those natives who were lost or forgotten. Peoples that were discarded like nothing, like scraps of paper in the wind. But we forget that those people were made promises, words that were shallow but still legal agreements that seemed useless; or almost useless.
