HHS Data: Nonprofit Jobs Picture Mixed, Faster Job Growth than in For-Profit Sector, Small Nonprofits Hit Hard by Recession
We found some interesting nonprofit employment data hanging out on the website of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, a small but important research shop at HHS. The numbers indicate that the stimulus probably boosted overall nonprofit employment in 2010, but also that the smallest nonprofits seem to be struggling.
